Over the years in this filed I have realized how many tour leaders coming from far away countries think that they can also be a guide for their groups once they come in Medjugorje. Not only that this is illegal ( o, yes, we do have lows covering that too) it is also very dishonest. I would even tell you that doing so you are taking away businesses from local people, who worked really hard to obtain their license, and they live in a post war country. The whole integrity of a person comes into question as he/she is not a leader of just some group , but he/she is a leader of a pilgrimage!!!
I hope you see my point.
This idea of the localguide.com web site is really good as one guide can suggest his own tour and take the visitor into his world, to really experience the local people, tradition, food and attractions.
