Medjugorje Today - peaceful :-)

Praised be Jesus and Mary!
Today is Sunday and I am home with children Actually they are all asleep and I am having a little time for myself and blog- much needed :-) . The life of the parish continues. Rosary on the Apparition  Hill on Sunday and way of the Cross on Krizevac on Fridays. This Friday was also special as guides organized a special novena which culminated on that Hill on Friday.   Surprisingly I am doing OK- no flue this week -) LOL .. Emanuel is so tired. Right now, along with our regular work at the Store  ( should I say storage) and art school  he is also preparing for a very demanding exams to become a Medjugorje guide for pilgrims.
The lectures will take a whole month of February and then first part of exam it self will take part on March 29th this year. We have the biggest church minds working with our future to be colleagues, thank God for that.   Bible, Catechism, history of the Church etc.. I know it will not be an easy exam to pass, I've been there :-) Passing rate can be very low, but what we need is a truly educated  and dedicated persona with a vocation. Anyway the process is very long so we will not get new colleague before December.
 Lectures are very interesting so many of the guides are using the opportunity to profit from those slow winter days renewing their knowledge or learning something new ( there is always place for improvement).
We also profit from being able to actually sit in the pews during mass :-) The other evening I went in and sat there all evening, trough rosary and mass and evening service. It was so great, first time after so many months! Nobody pushing , nobody caching me for the sleeve or weaving while passing by.I sat inside, I enjoyed the atmosphere of the church, direct look at the altar and Tabernacle.
Don't get me wrong I love you guys but you do make me leave my parish and find another church to go to mass :-)
 Luckily Herzegovina is full of churches and mass is served everywhere twice a day ( 5 on Sunday) -)))))))))) Children also enjoy it so much. We spend so much time together and around the church It became our great playground. For now! There are some works being done to make it even larger so more people can join in for the evening program.
I see that first groups are announced on 27 February, so it is coming near now
I have to prepare. Will  sleep a lot since at summer I wake up at 3 in the morning .... you know, Cross Mountain at 4 am ...  LOL :-)  Things we do! But I love it.
I know that I have to have peace in my heart first then I will carry it everywhere I go and everything will be Ok even if my groups is 166 pax :-) (that's a full charter flight form Italy, you know)
But I will  write about that some other time.
