Your Medjugorje Tour Guide no.3

Hvaljen Isus i Marija!
My dear friends and pilgrims. Yes, we have survived another big feast day here in Medjugorje. Although the Assumption Day is behind us most of our pilgrims is still in the village as it is the time of holidays in Europe. Unlike usual 2-3 nights stay I am now having groups who have 6 to 8 nights stay . This is so great as I can really enjoy my work and have my pilgrims to various places of prayer with occasional private meeting and private mass in some of our charming little chapels.
Trip to Mostar is becoming to be a "regular" excursion for most of groups so I have figured out a travel tour program that is more spiritual than tourist oriented. The begging of the tour is a mass in the Saint Paul and Francis church flowed by a visit to a crypt and chapel, prayer to our martyrs and before the statue of Our Lady which miraculously survived  the great fire which completely savored the whole old Franciscan church with it's inventory.. On many occasion one of the firers from the convent would come to extend his gratitude and blessing to the pilgrims who have made possible for this church to become after the last war joining their donation to the ones of the parishioners. I used to do translation for French and English on may occasions so the firers confirm their trust in my touring and explaining by allowing me to do it myself. This is an honor for which I am most grateful. Mostar guided tour continues by the walk to the old town and famous Old Bridge (Stari Most) which is actually a new old bridge as the original was destroyed during the last war, passing one of the oldest Turkish baths , shopping streets and finally the  mosques.
An unique experiences of this little side tour truly helps pilgrims to better understand the history and tradition of the local people. All that mixture of nations, religions, costumes and fascinating nature of our land making an extraordinary mosaic of beauty and wonder. Explained by local person  who is also a living witness of  communist regime, war, and post war situation comes really appreciated by my pilgrims and  I cannot be but truly happy and grateful to dear Lord for this magnificent service he intended for me.
Now is time for your guide to relax and play with children.
May God bles you all !
