This is the blog of Anita and Emanuel. We are devoted Roman Catholic family of 4 (for now) and we love Our Lady Queen of Peace.
We have a small shop Emanuel Medjugorje- Handmade Catholic Art and Craft in the village of Medjugorje, the most famous little village in the world. If you go to the www.emanuelmedjugorje.com you can see some of the products we sell and /or make in our store.
While Emanuel spends days and nights at the store I, Anita, spend more time with pilgrims as a guide in the parish of Medjugorje. I have a BA in tourism and I am a licensed by Government and the parish to do that work (it is more a vocation then job) . This blog is started in 2005 as we wanted to share about our life and work in Medjugorje. It is a very interesting and ever changing turbulent life, filed with wonderful spiritual experiences and rich in friendships and events.
Unlike some people might think, living in the place known as "the oasis of peace", doesn't mean one is "safe" from hardships of life. Quite contrary I would say. But living with God, person can overcome everything.
If you read the Blog, you will see that there has been a longer pause in writing, this is due to the "troubles" :-)
