Cari figli, come Madre sono con voi per aiutarvi con il mio amore, preghiera ed esempio a diventare seme di ciò che avverrà, un seme che si svilupperà in un forte albero ed estenderà i suoi rami nel mondo intero. Per divenire seme di ciò che avverrà, seme dell'amore, pregate il Padre che vi perdoni le omissioni finora compiute. Figli miei, solo un cuore puro, non appesantito dal peccato può aprirsi e solo occhi sinceri possono vedere la via per la quale desidero condurvi. VICKA IS BACK
Yes, Thank be to our dear Lord , our Vicka is much better although still fragile, and she is speaking and praying with pilgrims.
At this moment there are thousands of pilgrims and locals at the orphanage, patiently waiting to meet her.
It is such a joy for us to see her walking on her feet as just couple months ago all were saying that she will permanently stay in bed. God is big , God is good.

Europe are bigger and bigger and as more and more pilgrims are coming to Medjugorje every day.
I could not stop smiling too as our archbishop greeted me so warmly on the airport where he came traveling with a plain full of our pilgrims. It was so funny as five of us were waiting before the door for our pilgrims and first to come was the archbishop and Cardinal who is the member of commission. I was wondering how was his trip among this 150 pilgrims who could not stop speaking about Medjugorje and Our Lady but of course i did not get anything but" Hvaljen Isus i MArija!" with a big smile.
As visionaries are appearing before commission in pairs we are now expecting the final (Ivan and Jakov) meeting and then I guess weshell know the final outcome of the investigations .... ?!
I am glad to be a part of this and to be able to serve to our pilgrims but above all to be Our Lady's little helper who is trying to live Her messages in today's world and also to be a living witness of Her presence among us.
Sometimes is extremly difficult but I always go to Her for more strength for more patience (above all) and She helps . Our Lady gives me a comfort, a sense of equilibrium in my life and helps me to fine peace in all situation of lifeI wish that , when I speak to my pilgrims, I manage to give some of those gifts to them ...
I am, as always, carrying all my readers, my FB friends, my pilgrims in my heart and will remember and recommend you again tomorrow when I climb the apparition Hill and especially at the moment of apparition of Our Lady.

Clarence "Gene" Gerber, age 84, of Fort Collins, Colo. died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home.
Clarence "Gene" Gerber, age 84, of Fort Collins, Colo. died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home.
Clarence Eugene Gerber was born May 18, 1927 in Fowler, Kan. to Joseph and Mary Gerber. They lived on a wheat farm and raised cattle. Gene graduated from Fowler High School and enlisted into the U.S. Air Force to serve at the end of WWII and then was called back to serve in the Korean War. He married Juanita "Sue" Kramer on August 1, 1950 at St. Anthony Church in Fowler. After his discharge from the Air Force, Gene farmed and raised cattle in Fowler until moving to Denver in 1965. He began working as a stationary engineer for Shell Chemicals, a job he held until moving to Fort Collins in 1980 when he began working for Kodak in Windsor.
In 1990, Gene retired and began to travel. After his faith, his love of the Blessed Mother and his family; Gene's favorite pastimes were CU football and traveling. He took two trips to Medjugorje and was forever spiritually changed by the experiences. Gene and Sue danced through life, literally and figuratively. He loved a good time, a good party, and to be a good friend.
Gene is survived by his wife, Juanita "Sue" Gerber; a daughter, Jeanan Gerber; a granddaughter, Shannon Huseby DeBruyne (and husband, Rob) of Brighton, Colo.; and a sister, Coletta Low of Fowler, Kan. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Huseby; his son, Joey Gerber; two brothers, Alvin and Carl; and three sisters, Dorothy, Florence and Lorene.

Visitation will be held after 5:00 pm Tuesday, November 22 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Dr., #E, Fort Collins with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday at Blessed John 23rd University Parish in Fort Collins. Interment, with full military honors will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins.

Convegno Guide Mariane 2011
Dall'11 al 13 novembre 2011 si è svolto a Roma, presso l'Istituto "Salesianum" un Simposio formativo delle guide dei Santuari Mariani, dal titolo "Ecco, sono la Serva del Signore, avvenga di Me quello che hai detto".
Questo Simposio ha visto la partecipazione di circa trecento laici impegnati nella guida tecnica e spirituale dei pellegrini che si recano presso i Santuari Mariani e curano anche la formazione qualitativa della spiritualità che in detti pellegrinaggi viene proposta per la crescita nella vita cristiana.
Grande è stato il contributo, per la bravura e profonda spiritualità, dei due Relatori: Padre Danko Perutina, Vice Parroco di Medjugorje e don Pier Dante Giordano, Direttore dell'Oratorio Salesiano "Don Bosco".
Un elogio va anche alle guide che si sono dimostrate all'altezza del compito affidato dalla Madonna.
A chiusura del Simposio, domenica 13 novembre 2011, tutti i partecipanti hanno ricevuto in Piazza San Pietro, da Sua Santità Benedetto XVI, la Benedizione Apostolica.

Novinari radiopostaje "Mir" Međugorje redovito u svojim emisijama ugošćuju međugorske hodočasnike. Evo nekih iskustava: Davor Terzić, kantautor iz Rovinja boravio je sa suprugom Vesnom u Međugorju. Davor je već dugo godina prisutan na Hrvatskoj glazbenoj sceni, a sudjelovao je na gotovo svim festivalima duhovne glazbe (Uskrs fest, Marija fest, Krapina fest i Frama fest.). ''Hodočastili smo u Mariju Bistricu, Vepric te evo nas sedmi ili osmi put u Međugorju. Svake godine uspijemo izdvojiti vrijeme za sebe. Naš posao je vezan za glazbu, živimo od toga. Dolazimo zahvaliti za sve što nam je Bog dao u prošlih godinu dana. Ovdje se osjećamo ispunjeno.''- kažu supružnici Terzić.
Zaklada ''Čujem, vjerujem, vidim'' iz Zagreba organizirala je studijsko putovanje i hodočašće za mlade i studente s invaliditetom. Za vrijeme svoga hodočasničkog boravka u Međugorju posjetili su molitvena mjesta i sudjelovali u molitveno -liturgijskome programu. Slijepa studentica i Preloga, Martina Belić, istaknula je da joj je najveći izazov bilo penjanje na Brdo ukazanja. ''Uvijek mi je to lijepo iskustvo. Naporno je fizički, ali osjetiš neki duhovni mir, osjetiš da se i ti za nešto žrtvuješ''!
Gost radiopostaje bio je i 41-godišnji Andrea Bianco, hodočasnik iz Bolzana, grada na sjeveru Italije, te podijelio svoju životnu priču. Kao student druge godine doživio je tešku prometnu nesreću u kojoj je izgubio vid. Vjeruje da je preživio zahvaljujući Božjoj milosti. Oženjen je, ima četvero djece. Sa suprugom pravi krunice koje daruje hodočasnicima, a već godinama s prijateljima organizira hodočašće u Međugorje. ''Imao sam mladost identičnu drugim mladim ljudima. Imao sam sve, djevojku, novac, studirao sam. Nisam se brinuo za duhovnost. Bilo je važno zabaviti se. Odjednom moj se život u potpunosti promijenio. Jedan dan kada sam se vraćao s izleta s djevojkom Larom, preticao sam kamion koji nas je udario i odbacio na stablo. Djevojci se nije ništa dogodilo, a ja sam teško stradao. Mene su zrakoplovom prebacili u bolnicu u Bolzanu. Budući da je bio Veliki četvrtak, nedostajalo je osoblja. Poslali su me u bolnicu u Veronu, gdje sam podvrgnut kirurškom zahvatu. O meni se počeo brinuti jedan mladi liječnik, koji je tada izgubio brata u automobilskoj nesreći. Operirao me. Ostao sam 20 dana u komi. Jedan hematom mi je zgnječio očne živce i izgubio sam vid." Slijedi dugo vrijeme borbe obilaska bolnica i pregleda. A onda istinska potreba za sakramentom Pomirenja. Nakon toga prima i sakrament svete Potvrde koji do tad nije primio. Nakon tri godine vjenčao se s djevojkom Larom. Kaže kako je godinama slušao priče o Međugorju, i pozitivne i negativne. Prvo hodočašće zbilo se 1998., a plodovi su slijedili tek nakon toga: ''Ovdje doživljavamo iskustvo neba, bezgranično milosrđe naše nebeske Majke. Iz Međugorja se vraćamo preporođeni, obnovljeni, drukčiji, spremni opet ići na ovo mjesto milosti'' - svjedoči Andrea koji od tada Međugorje posjećuje dva puta godišnje.
Svoje svjedočanstvo izrekao je i p. Loky Flanagan, iz Irske, misionar u Africi, u Malaviju. Do Međugorja ga je dovelo iskustvo s udrugom, Mary's Meals - koja kao plod Međugorja svaki dan hrani oko 400 000 djece u Africi. Potom je 2003. godine sudjelovao na Seminaru za svećenike, što je za njega bilo, kako kaže, nevjerojatno bogato duhovno iskustvo. ''Međugorje mi je pomoglo da imam vjeru i ufanje u Boga, ono mi daje ohrabrenje da nastavim raditi kao svećenik. Mnogo sam mirniji. Susreti s ljudima, ispovijedanje mnogo mi znače. Ne bih rekao da stalno pratim međugorska događanja, ali imam knjigu s Gospinim porukama.''- svjedoči otac Loky koji namjerava i iduće godine posjetiti Međugorje.(slike)

International Scientific Symposium titled “Thirty years of Medjugorje”. This symposium was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011
As we celebrate thirty years of Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje, Parish Office of Medjugorje parish together with editors of Scientific Bulletin “Herzegovina Franciscana” decided to organise International Scientific Symposium titled “Thirty years of Medjugorje”. This symposium was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in the Hall of Bl. John Paul II in Medjugorje. Respectful and eminent theologians, historians, sociologists and psychologists participated, as well as other speakers who were involved in the events in Medjugorje in the last thirty years. This symposium was opened for the public and parishioners of Medjugorje parish were invited, as well as all of the pilgrims, but in a particular way invitation was directed to the guides and employees of Information Centre “Mir” Medjugorje.
All of the works that were presented during this symposium are going to be printed in the following edition of “Herzegovina Franciscana” that should be ready until Christmas this year, and we are hoping that there might be special edition of all of these works.

The coordinator of the programme was Dr. Fr. Robert Jolic. Every lecture lasted from 10 to 12 minutes.

Journalists of radio station “Mir” Medjugorje regularly invite pilgrims who come to Medjugorje to witness about their apparitions. Here, we will bring some of those experiences.
Davor Terzic, musician and composer from Rovinj came with his wife Vesna to Medjugorje. Davor is very much present at Croatian music scene and he is regularly participating at every festival of spiritual music. “We visited other Croatian shrines like Marija Bistrica and Vepric, and here we are in Medjugorje, for seventh, eighth time. We try to have a little bit time for ourselves every year. Our work is related to music, we make our living from that. We come here to thank God for everything he has given us in the previous year. This is where we feel fulfilled.”
The Association “I hear, I believe, I see” from Zagreb has organised study trip and pilgrimage for young people and disabled students. While they were in Medjugorje they visited prayer places and participated in the evening prayer programme.
The blind student from Prelog, Martina Bilic, said that greatest challenge for her was to climb Apparition Hill. “This was always beautiful experience for me, it is physical effort, but one can feel spiritual peace and sacrifice that has purpose.”
Andrea Bianco, 41 years old pilgrim from Bolzano, little town on the north of Italy, shared his experience with us. As a sophomore student he was in a serious car accident and lost his sight on that occasion. He believes that he survived thanks to God’s providence. He is married and has four children. He is making rosary beads together with his wife and gives those to pilgrims, but he is also organising pilgrimages to Medjugorje. “My young days were like of the average young person at that time. I had it all, girlfriend, money, I was studying. I did not worry about spirituality too much. It was all about entertainment. Suddenly, my life was changed over the night. One day, I was on my way back home, after having a field trip with my girlfriend, I wanted to overtake a truck that hit us and threw us to a tree on the other side. My girlfriend was fine, but I was severely hurt. I was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Bolzano. It was Holy Thursday, and they did not have enough staff. I was sent to the hospital in Verona and I had surgery there. My doctor was young, new doctor who had lost his brother in a car accident as well. He did the surgery and I was in coma for twenty days. I had one hematoma that was pressing my eye nerves and that is how I lost my sight.” What followed was the period of recovery when he went from hospital to hospital. It was in that time that he welt urge to go to sacrament of reconciliation. Soon afterwards he received the sacrament of Holy Confirmation that he had not received before. Three years afterwards he and his girlfriend Lara got married. He said how he was listening stories about Medjugorje for years that were both positive and negative. He came on his first pilgrimage in 1998, and fruits of that pilgrimage followed afterwards. “This is where we can feel heaven, immense grace from our Heavenly Mother. We are returning home renewed, different and we are prepared to return to this place of grace”, said Andrea who comes regularly to Medjugorje twice a year since that time.

He was introduced to Medjugorje through charity association “Mary’s Meals” that is fruits of Medjugorje and feeds every single day around 400,000 children in Africa. He came to Medjugorje in 2003, and participated at the retreat for priests and found that an incredible spiritual experience. “Medjugorje helped me to have faith and trust in God, it encourages me to continue working as a priest. I have more peace. Meeting people and confessions help me a lot. I would not say that I am constantly involved in the events in Medjugorje, but I do have a book with Our Lady’s messages”, said Fr. Gospa od Zdravlja - Prikazanje Blažene Djevice Marije
O Gospe Draga moli za nas i za sve ljude širom svijeta osobito za patnike i bolesnike koje ti prikazujem jutros u svojim molitvama ! Sjetise Majčice svih koji su tvoju utjehu tražili ovdje u Međugorju , posebno ti prikazujem one koji su od mene tražili da za njih molim.
Slava Ocu i Sinu i Duhu Svetomu, kako bijaše na početku tako i sada i vazda i u vijeke vjekova. Amen!
O Marijinu prikazanju ne govori nam nijedna knjiga Svetoga pisma, no zato o njemu opširno pišu apokrifi, oni tekstovi koje Crkva ne priznaje kao nadahnute pa ih zato nije ni uvrstila u svoj službeni popis svetopisamskih knjiga. Kao zanimljivost navodimo kratko što apokrifi pišu o Marijinu prikazanju. Prema njima taj je čin bio veoma svečan. Popratili su ga čudesni događaji. Mariju su roditelji obećali Bogu i doveli je u hram kad su joj bile tri godine. Bilo je to u pratnji velikog broja hebrejskih djevojčica koje su u ruci nosile zapaljene baklje. U svečanosti su sudjelovale hramske vlasti, pa i sami anđeli, koji su vršili službu pjevača. Od radosti su pjevali.
Do ulaza u hram bilo je 15 stepenica, kojima se Marija sama uspela, premda je bila još tako malena. Apokrifi govore još da se Marija u hramu hranila neobičnom hranom, koju su joj donosili sami anđeli te da nije stanovala s ostalim djevojčicama, već u samoj svetinji nad svetinjama.
Sve su to samo pobožna i neutemeljena razmišljanja apokrifnih pisaca. Ipak, kao neka književna vrsta mogu imati neko značenje. Ono bi bilo u tome što se želi na izvanjski, osjetan način, opisati, dočarati onu stvarnost koja je nevidljiva, stvarnost da je Marija od prvoga časa svoga postojanja bila puna milosti, da je bila predodređena za dostojanstvo Bogomajke, kojim nadilazi i same anđele.
Bog je svojom milošću pripravio Marijino tijelo da ono postane hramom Božjega Sina, svetinjom nad svetinjama, u koju se spustio i nastanio Najsvetiji, Sin Božji. Ona je po svome odabranju prikazana, posvećena Bogu, određena za velike stvari, za ostvarenje Božjega plana o spasenju čovjeka. Kad čitamo one nadahnute tekstove Svetoga pisma, koji govore o Mariji, onda nam i današnji spomendan postaje tako jasan, rječit. Radi se o velikoj tajni utjelovljenja u koju je i Marija svim svojim bićem bila uvučena.
Blagdan Gospe od Zdravlja, kojoj su u krajevima negdašnje Mletačke Republike bile podignute brojne crkve, crkvice i kapele, vezan je s jednim događajem. Kad je god. 1630. na području Mletačke Republike harala strašna kuga, koja je u samoj Veneciji pokosila 80.000 života, mletački se Senat obratio Gospi za pomoć. Učinjen je zavjet baš na današnji dan god. 1631. da će Gospi, ako prestane kuga, podići crkvu. Kuga je prestala, a zavjet je ispunjen. Podignuta je god. 1687. velebna crkva Madonna della salute, koju i danas svaki posjetitelj Venecije može posjetiti. Pobožnost prema Gospi od Zdravlja došla je iz Venecije i u naše južne krajeve.
