In ricordo di P. Stefano De Fiores: «Beati, mille volte beati, i sacerdoti di Gesù Cristo formati da Maria» (Montfort)

Padre Stefano De Fiores, noto mariologo e missionario monfortano, 78 anni, è morto sabato sera, 14 aprile 2012, all'ospedale S. Anna di Catanzaro dove era stato ricoverato in seguito a una crisi cardiaca. Padre Stefano si trovava a San Luca, dove era nato il 2 ottobre del 1933, per il ministero pasquale.
Ricordiamo padre Stefano per la sua vita totalmente dedicata all'approfondimento del mistero di Maria. Se il santuario di Polsi ha rappresentato "la culla della sua devozione mariana", l'incontro con il carisma di san Luigi Maria de Montfort, un santo che ha saputo conoscere, amare e far amare il Signore, avendo Maria come modello e guida, lo accompagnerà sempre. Entrato nei missionari monfortani, è stato ordinato sacerdote nella Basilica di Loreto, il 21 febbraio del 1959. Docente di mariologia, per diversi anni, alla Pontificia Facoltà Teologica "Marianum" di Roma, padre Stefano lascia il patrimonio non solo della sua immensa produzione letteraria in campo mariologico ma anche della sua passione volta a incontrare e a far incontrare in modo vivo la presenza di Maria nel mistero di Cristo e della Chiesa. I funerali di padre Stefano si terranno a San Luca, lunedì 16 aprile 2012, alle ore 15.00. Verrà poi sepolto nel cimitero del paese natale. La Vergine Maria, nella quale si è lasciato formare, l'accolga.

Medjugorje at Easter with pilgrims from all over the world.

This Easter gathered many pilgrims in Medjugorje who participated together with pilgrims in the Liturgical programme of Easter Triduum. In those days pilgrims from the following countries were present in Medjugorje: Korea, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Ukraine, Slovakia, Lebanon, Japan, the United States, Ireland, Austria and Romania.
Holy Thursday liturgical service started with prayer of the Rosary at 5 and solemn Holy Mass was at 6 p.m. Fr. Petar Vlasic, parish priest of Medjugorje parish was the main celebrant and 50 other priests concelebrated as well. The Blessed Sacrament was exposed until midnight immediately after Holy Mass and all faithful had the opportunity for silent prayer.
 On Good Friday, ever since the early morning hours, pilgrims were climbing Cross Mountain in smaller or in bigger groups and they were all praying the Way of the Cross. At 11 a.m. the prayer of the Way of the Cross started for Croatian pilgrims and parishioners and Fr. Miljenko Steko led the prayer. The Rosary was at 5 p.m. in the church of St. James and Good Friday Service started at 6 p.m. Fr. Danko Perutina led the Prayer while singing of Passion was led by Fr. Karlo Lovric, Fr. Tihomir Bazina, one deacon and Members of Medjugorje choir.
Holy Saturday was the day of silent prayer throughout the whole world and the same was in Medjugorje. Pilgrims prayed around the church, on Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. As it was getting dark, we were preparing for Easter vigil prayer. The Rosary started at 8 p.m. and Fr. Svetozar Kraljevic led those prayers. Solemn and Holy night Vigil began at 9 p.m. Fr. Marinko Sakota was the main celebrant and 56 priests concelebrated at that Holy Mass.
On Easter Sunday there were many Holy Masses in various languages and four in Croatian language. There were many pilgrims who arrived to spend this Holy Week in Medjugorje and among them we noticed one group from Japan. They said that they travelled for 18 hours to come to Medjugorje and they all said that this pilgrimage is going to increase and strengthen their faith even more. What a great Easter season in Medjugorje. Not even a bit cold weather and rain could not prevent us from having a great spiritual events.

Spiritual renewal of the Franciscan School Sisters from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 31 . 40 nuns participated in it. The theme of the retreat was: “Suffering, mysterious God’s speech” and Fr. Miljenko Steko was conductor of the retreat.

Around forty volunteers, members and supporters of House for Homeless people “Roses of St. Francis” from Rijeka, spent few days in Medjugorje from March 31 to April 2, 2012. They wanted to thank Our Lady, Queen of Peace, for five years since they have their House.

Esistono molte storie come queste, ma facendo una minima ricerca, è facile scoprire la verità. Il fatto in questione, riguarda un bambino disabile della provincia di Ferrara, a cui sarebbe stata negata la
comunione.
In realtà è bastato cercare "comunione negata" su google ed ecco apparire tra i primi risultati l’articolo di Avvenire con la ricostruzione dei fatti. Nel frattempo però qualcuno ha voluto far circolare la falsa notizia, creando così un caso di "mala Chiesa" assolutamente inventato. Ma la Chiesa ha le spalle grosse....

Ecco come sono andate le cose dall’indagine di Avvenire:

Una carezza del sacerdote nel giorno della Prima Comunione doveva essere il gesto dell’accoglienza e dell’attenzione speciale di un’intera comunità a un bambino di dieci anni con gravi disabilità psichiche. Invece su molti canali mediatici è diventato l’emblema dell’esclusione della «vita debole» dal banchetto eucaristico. Una barriera che sarebbe stata alzata dal parroco di Porto Garibaldi, nell’arcidiocesi di Ferrara-Comacchio, durante la Messa del Giovedì Santo quando venti ragazzi si sono accostati per la prima volta al sacramento. «Siamo amareggiati, non ce lo aspettavamo», racconta la mamma alle agenzie di stampa.
