No, but I cannot talk about that! - says the Cardinal.Maybe some of the original English viewers can get something out of it, I can not. I don't understand what it was .... However, the TV and papers are saying so many things and it is all about sensationalism. It sell, so it is understandable. I guess.
March 12, 2010. The pope has put one of his most loyal collaborators to head the investigation in Medjugorje. Cardinal Camillo Ruini, famous for his work and discretion reacted like this when he was asked how he would proceed.
Cardinal Camillo Ruini
“No but, I can’t talk about this.”
Over the last 17 years, Camillo Ruini was Vicar of Rome’s diocese an president of the Italian Bishops. During that time period, he worked to promote the presence of Catholics in public life.
John Paul II said Ruini was intelligent, he had a heart and the courage to adhere to the Magisterium of the Church. Benedict XVI has stressed his collaboration and optimism with the Popes in difficult moments.
Now, the philosopher and theologian, who has been a professor of dogmatic theology, must inform Benedict XVI on one of the phenomena’s that’s attracting more Catholics around the world: the reported apparitions of the Virgin in Medjugorje, Bosnia.

You will see the comment how Medjugorje is not in Bosnia. LOL :-) I always remind my pilgrims that Medjugorje is in Herzegovina which is the part of one country called Bosnia and Herzegovina. But one would expect form the serious journalist to be informed well about the subject, specially when mentioning a Country.
But in the light of others who in their reports can't really make it to the names of the visionaries, who has or has not apparition and when... this is a minor thing ... Do you know that one article in the Croatian papers actually says that Mirjana is coming for a big meeting in Italy in May, which is to be held on March 13 where she is going to have apparition on the March 3! - I read it several times ... Amazing!
Anyways, regarding commission, I am looking forward. Can't wait!!! But I doubt they would tell us who is the member, a least not until they actually come to Medjugorje and investigate. Then I expect them to "reveal" their status, tell the names of the commission's members and their findings. Then Medjugorje could officially become the shrine ( sanctuary) and then they can start investigating the apparitions etc ... Nothing is contrary to the teaching of the church. We have prayer of the rosary, Holy Mass, confession, prayer groups.. parish is "spiritually alive", not to mention enormous amount of people who come and share in prayers ....
I am not really happy (just like our bishop) about this great number of communities living here without permission.....I would really love to see some order there but it is so out of our hands... well, we can't expect them all to close the doors and go away like Oasis but I am hoping, I am hoping....
