The International Hagiotherapy Training (levels 1-4)- Ph.Dr. Tomislav Ivancic

Dear friends, We would like to inform you that from 05-10 July  2010, in the hall «Vijenac» of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Institute, Kaptol 29a (next to the cathedral) in Zagreb,  Ph.D. Tomislav Ivancic will hold an International Hagiotherapy Training  (levels 1-4), organized by the Head Office of the Community Prayer and Word. All who are interested in the work of hagiotherapy and have not participated in the past Hagiotherapy Training held in July 2009, as well as those who would like to deepen their knowledge of hagiotherapy are invited to attend the course. The training will be simultaneously intepreted into English, German and Italian. 1. The preconditions for attending the hagiotherapy training are: the person should be spiritually and mentally healthy, the person should at least have middle school education, be a practicing Christian, have a calling to work in hagiotherapy, lead a healthy moral life, be prepared to work as a hagioassistant after completion of the expert and spiritual training. Apart from the application, the person should hand in the following documents: Copy of certificate about completed education, copy of certificate of baptism and/or other document about received sacraments, Short curriculum vitae based on the above preconditions, explaining the reasons for attending the hagiotherapy training, Document about religious membership and engagement (what Christian denomination the person belongs to, whether he/she has experience in faith, whether he/she is active in the parish or community, does he/she live according to the convictions of his/her church), Reference letter by parish priest or leader of Christian community about psychical, moral and religious state of the candidate. The following persons need not hand in the above-mentioned documents: members of the Community Prayer and Word, priests, ordained persons, as well as those, who have already sent in their documents for the Summer Hagiotherapy or Evangelisation Training in July/August 2009. The training fee for the hagiotherapy study course is 100 euro per person, which will be charged upon arrival at the Institute. 2. Accommodation at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Institute: There are the following accommodation facilities in the mentioned Institute: 6 single rooms and 18 double rooms at the price of : - 180 kn (approx. 25 euro) for a single room + breakfast 130 kn (approx. 18 euro) per person for a double room + breakfast Please make a reservation for this accommodation with your application for the hagiotherapy training. For persons accommodated at the Institute the building will be open on 1. January 2010 from 13 h. Other Accommodation Possibilities Participants of the Hagiotherapy Training are obliged to make accommodation reservations on their own. The prices are: 364 kn (approx. 50 euro) for a single room + breakfast (only 5 rooms available) 255 kn (approx. 35 euro) per person for a double room + breakfast (20 rooms available) 210 kn (approx. 29 Euro) per person in a three bed-room + breakfast If you make a reservation at the hotel Jadran, kindly mention that you are a participant of the study of hagiotherapy in the «Vijenac» hall, since then you will be charged less for the accommodation. We suggest that you arrange with some of the other participants of the training to be accommodated together in double rooms or three-bed rooms, since it is very difficult to find a single room at a favourable price. You can also find accommodation in some other hotel or privately in Zagreb; the best way to do it is via the Internet. Lunch and/or dinner, which will be served at the Institute, can be ordered upon arrival. The price is 60 kn per meal. You can also have your meals in near-by restaurants which will lower their prices for the participants of the training. Kindly mention that you are a participant to the waiter.
