Mass for the killed Franciscans from Medjugorje parish

On the Feast day of the blessed Alojzije Stepinac, the evening of February the 10th 2010.  Holy Mass will be celebrated in memory t all of the killed Franciscan priest who were born in the parish of Medjugorje: Križan Galić OFM, Jozo Bencun OFM, Marko Dragičević OFM, Mariofil Sivirć OFM, Grgo Vasilj OFM, Jenko Vasilj OFM . They are six out of 66 Franciscans of Herzegovina Franciscan Province murdered by communists at the time of and right  after WWII. Holy sacrifice of the mass is also in memory to all victims from parish of Medjugorje ( over 700) died during First and Second  world war and the Homland war,  as well as in memory of all who have given their life  for the faith and homeland.  The holy mass for the Franciscans killed in 1945 was held in Široki Brijeg February the 7th and one more will be celebrated in Mostar Monastery on February 14 th 2010  (day when the Franciscans from that Monastery were killed) also for all who have died for faith and homaland.
